  • alternatively allow turning down refresh rate by a huge amount (e.g. once a week)
    • the extractor has to decide that
      • may the site known to temporarily take down a playlist or not
      • or it is YouTube, where a removed playlist might not come back too fast

Implementation

  • await implementation of 3rd-party-IDs
  • await separation of extractor types & supporting multiple extractors per media
  • await merging collections with medias to uniformed format
  • framework to allow communicating back a (temporary) removal of content
    • also allow for other circumstances (e.g. temporarily site outages, configuration errors, …)
  • framework to allow marking online-content to be removed permanently
  • YouTube: detect removed playlists (different from private playlists?)
  • RSS: detect fully removed feed (which code?)
