Will Norris	9b537f7c97	ipn: remove the preview-webclient node capability ... Now that 1.54 has released, and the new web client will be included in 1.56, we can remove the need for the node capability. This means that all 1.55 unstable builds, and then eventually the 1.56 build, will work without setting the node capability. The web client still requires the "webclient" user pref, so this does NOT mean that the web client will be on by default for all devices. Sonia Appasamy	191e2ce719	client/web: add ServerMode to web.Server ... Adds a new Mode to the web server, indicating the specific scenario the constructed server is intended to be run in. Also starts filling this from the cli/web and ipn/ipnlocal callers. From cli/web this gets filled conditionally based on whether the preview web client node cap is set. If not set, the existing "legacy" client is served. If set, both a login/lobby and full management client are started (in "login" and "manage" modes respectively). Sonia Appasamy	89953b015b	ipn/ipnlocal,client/web: add web client to tailscaled ... Allows for serving the web interface from tailscaled, with the ability to start and stop the server via localapi endpoints (/web/start and /web/stop). This will be used to run the new full management web client, which will only be accessible over Tailscale (with an extra auth check step over noise) from the daemon. This switch also allows us to run the web interface as a long-lived service in environments where the CLI version is restricted to CGI, allowing us to manage certain auth state in memory. ipn/ipnlocal/web is stubbed out in ipn/ipnlocal/web_stub for ios builds to satisfy ios restriction from adding "text/template" and "html/template" dependencies. Will Norris	9a3bc9049c	client/web,cmd/tailscale: add prefix flag for web command ... We already had a path on the web client server struct, but hadn't plumbed it through to the CLI. Add that now and use it for Synology and QNAP instead of hard-coding the path. (Adding flag for QNAP is tailscale/tailscale-qpkg#112) This will allow supporting other environments (like unraid) without additional changes to the client/web package. Will Norris	f9066ac1f4	client/web: extract web client from cli package ... move the tailscale web client out of the cmd/tailscale/cli package, into a new client/web package. The remaining cli/web.go file is still responsible for parsing CLI flags and such, and then calls into client/web. This will allow the web client to be hooked into from other contexts (for example, from a tsnet server), and provide a dedicated space to add more functionality to this client. When the user clicks on the Tailscale app in the QNAP App Center, we do a GET from /cgi-bin/authLogin.cgi to look up their SID. If the user clicked "secure login" on the QNAP login page to use HTTPS, then our access to authLogin.cgi will also use HTTPS but the certiciate is self-signed. Our GET fails with: Get "https://10.1.10.41/cgi-bin/authLogin.cgi?sid=abcd0123": x509: cannot validate certificate for 10.1.10.41 because it doesn't contain any IP SANs or similar errors. Denton Gentry	a200a23f97	Revert "cmd/tailscale: access QNAP via localhost" ... When running `tailscale web` as a standalone process, it was necessary to send auth requests to QTS using localhost to avoid hitting the proxy recursively. However running `tailscale web` as a process means it is consuming RAM all the time even when it isn't actively doing anything. After switching back to the `tailscale web` CGI mode, we don't need to specifically use localhost for QNAP auth. This reverts commit e0cadc5496. Brad Fitzpatrick	7e016c1d90	ipn/ipnserver: remove IPN protocol server ... Unused in this repo as of the earlier #6450 (300aba61a6) and unused in the Windows GUI as of tailscale/corp#8065. With this ipn.BackendServer is no longer used and could also be removed from this repo. The macOS and iOS clients still temporarily depend on it, but I can move it to that repo instead while and let its migration proceed on its own schedule while we clean this repo up. Maisem Ali	6afe26575c	ipn: make Notify.Prefs be a *ipn.PrefsView ... It is currently a `ipn.PrefsView` which means when we do a JSON roundtrip, we go from an invalid Prefs to a valid one. We wrote PHP code to pull the two out of the PHP config and into environment variables before running "tailscale web".
