installer.sh: accommodate linuxmint versioning.

Recent linuxmint releases now use VERSION_CODENAME for
a linuxmint release (like "uma") and set UBUNTU_CODENAME to
the Ubuntu release they branched from.

Tested in a linuxmint 20.2 VM.
