With the move of the config file, the command in CI did not work as expected anymore. I am unsure why Hugo actually ignored the missing config file in the command… To avoid this problem in the future and simplify the job, we use the default config and add an environment variable for the status which will always take precedence over the config. Changelogs
Towncrier is used to manage the changelog and keep it up to date. Because of this, updating a changelog is really easy.
Generating the changelog

Creating a new changelog
There are a few places you'll have to update:
/layouts/shortcodes/changelog/changelog-changes.htmlto account for the new changelog./scripts/generate-changelog.shto render the changelog for releases.- Supporting documentation such as the contributing guidelines.
