Refactor the currently well-factored ec2 modules (i.e. those that already use ec2_connect) to have a common argument spec. In particular, do not rely on the $USER environment variable always existing. tmux for example seems to clear it, causing lots of invalid messages: "previous known host file not found" This broke in commit 80fd22dc, but instead of reverting that commit, we now fall back to expanding just ~ when $USER is not set.	11 years ago

Rob Smith	953dc6b345	When not finding a host in ~/.ssh/known_hosts, the return value is 0 if the host just is not found. We then never check the system host file in /etc. This fixes the code to check /etc on any failure, not just a bad return code.	11 years ago
